1. Nice post...I voted for Physical Graffiti.

If I were to vote for something from my era, I suppose I would have voted for Mellon Collie and the Infinite Sadness. However, even though it has a lot of great songs (if you are a fan of Billy Corgan's band), it also has a bunch of clunkers.
  2. The Wall, hands down.
  3. The Beatles.
  4. Prince's "Sign O The Times." Would have taken the Grammy from The Joshua Tree had he had any clue on what songs to put on it. He had at least 300 unreleased songs better than the album's four weakest tracks. The weakest by far was "It's Gonna Be A Beautiful Night," which went on and on for 9 minutes. He could have placed two stronger songs for one weak one. And had he simply not over saturated the market with albums every year, "Kiss" would have been on Times, giving it a huge hit single along with the critically acclaimed songs. As a Prince fanatic first, I like it better than The Joshua Tree, but U2 deserved the Grammy based on not allowing weak material on the album, and by not over saturating the market.

Stevie Wonder's "Songs In The Key Of Life" is another great one.
  5. After seeing Across The Universe The Beatles just sound shit to me, at least their recordings anyway. Don't get me wrong, master song writers and lyricists, but they remind me of Dylan. Amazing writer with his work done better by others.

Apart from Helter Skelter and a few other select tracks
  6. Bruce Springsteen - The River
  7. Electric Ladyland.
  8. The White Album
  9. London Calling (double lp)
    Quadrophenia
    The White Album
    The Wall
    Sandinista
    Tommy (double lp)
  10. I voted for The Wall. There are many amazing albums on the list, but the wall is something else to me. And it's the proper way to use a double album!
