    6 list, 3 times Stairway To Heaven at top. That could be a suprise in the end.

  7. I think it's quite interesting that "Stairway" is at the top of so many lists. I recall a time (a few decades ago!) when it wasn't cool to like the song - which is obviously ridiculous but ...

    Nice #2 song, Dylan. Although they did't top my list (they are both on it however), I feel those two songs are the two (objectively, if that is even possible) greatest songs in there from the two (once again, attempting to be objective) greatest bands of all time.
  8. Yeah well the opening post of the list says what you think the best songs are of all time, not my favourite songs of all time, so I was as objective as possible. I mean, a lot of the songs on this list would also be in my Top 100 favourites too, but quite a lot also wouldn't be.

    It was hard to choose between 01. and 02., but they were the only songs I was ever going to put at the top. No contest.
  9. Hmm, I'm pretty sure we're supposed to be subjective and make our own U2start toplist? Which should in turn be a pretty objective list of great songs according to U2 fans.

    I take that as what I think are the best and not just my favourite. Kite is my all time favourite song but to me, it's still not the best song ever
