1. Lame. Really hoped they'd being either performing Invisible on Fallon or the first single from the new album. I guess they don't want to put any focus on it yet!

When they made a deal to be guests on Fallon, they probably thought they will come further with the album. In other words, I don't expect anything except 'We're on fire/trying to be relevant/can't say anything about new album' and so on and on.

You're probably right. I was just hoping that they'd use the really popular TV spot to blow people's minds. That'd be the time to do it. First new Tonight Show episode with new popular host? That's the venue to say "here's our new album coming out May whatever, here's the first single"
  4. It kind of sounds like they'll play something acoustically on Fallon, not OL necessarily. But yeah I'm looking forward to "the only performance of Ordinary Love at the Oscars"

I still think they might do Invisible as well. They usually do 2-3 songs on such shows.

  6. Many times they played just once ...but if they ll play one morei think it could be Beatiful day or Walk on ( please no Stuck in a moment) i don t think they would play Invisible
  7. I don't think they'd do three songs, two max. Most likely Ordinary Love and Invisible and then a classic for the audience which won't be broadcasted.
  8. Maybe that SBS acoustic they developed at Electric Lady during the summer?
  9. They usually always do an extra saong for the audience that doesn't get broadcast.
  10. OL is up to 17 on iTunes regular single charts. It wasn't even in top 20 on soundtracks over the weekend. Buzz from Fallon is really pushing this.
  11. So I watched the video on U2.com of the boys discussing the song, Larry mentioned in the early days they played a show/rally to bring contraception to Ireland and another was an anti-Apartheid gig. I finally understand what Bono meant when he said something a while back about having been playing for Mandela since the late 70's.

Also this thread should be in the "Albums, Singles and Videos and Songs" section methinks.
