  1. Seeing as Dangermouse is the producer of the new U2 album I thought a topic regarding him and his other music is warranted. A place to discuss his production and musical ventures perhaps.

I am a big fan of his collaboration with James Mercer (of The Shins), Broken Bells. Love their first album (self-titled) and can't wait for the second LP, After the Disco, which is released in January.

First single from the new album is Holding on for Life:

  3. Love, love, love the first album! Excited for the second one coming in January (?). That songs pretty good I like the more atmospheric stuff like October, Vaporize, The Mall & The Misery than the straight up pop music of Holding on for Life. Still going to be good I think.
  4. Just ''discovered'' them a couple of weeks ago. Great music. This song is great too.
  5. Not completely my cup of tea but I appreciate the guy's talent and I think he will be great for U2.

I love Holding on for Life, but I'm with you about The High Road - Side B is my favourite, hands down

  7. He's incredible. Everything he does blows me away, even if I don't like the music. His talents are supreme.
  8. Dangermouse written short film featuring Broken Bells music (all of which I think is going to be released on the new album)
