1. I ran into Dallas back in 2010. He told me about this. After 4 years, I wasn't sure it would see the light of day...

    But... Here it is!

The ultimate delay for U2 / Edge fans.

AND, it's MIDI controllable, until the old rack units.

Great work Dallas. Thanks to Korg for finally doing this.

SDD-3000 PEDAL PROGRAMMABLE DIGITAL DELAY | Effects | KORG

As many of us have heard, The Edge has been experimenting with Fractal Audio Axe FX units. Those would cover most other tones. A few of those and a few of the new SDD3000 Delay pedals, operated via MIDI... + a few other specialty pedals... Edge might have a far smaller rack next tour.

I am sure Dallas' back will appreciate that!
  2. Great news, Jeff!

  3. Well, there are two things I'm craving to know.

    1. Is that pre-amp good enough to replicate that boost that's so integral in Edge's sound?

    2. The price.

  6. Adam Clayton and U2 are at it again. Adam seems quite fond of his CUSTOM WARWICK STREAMER CV

  7. Adam has a nice line of Artists and Signature bass guitars.

    - Warwick Reverso (natural wood finish)
    - Warwick Reverso (metallic red finish)
    - Warwick Reverso (gold red finish)
    - Warwick Streamer CV (gold finish)

...Then there was the signature series Fender Precision (gold sparkle) bass....

Now, coming soon is an Artist Series Fender Jazz bass in Sherwood Green (one of Adam's longtime favorite finishes).

I had been wanting a Sherwood green Jazz bass... I might have to save for one of these.

  8. Damn, I think that's exactly the same finish as my '89 Strat!! I have been wanting to know the name. It's hard to get it to show properly at pics, but I think it's the same. If so, thanks for letting me know :O

By the way: we could keep this discussion at the
    U2 & Guitar Gear: Q & A
thread, Jeff Just to have all guitar&bass&gear discussions centralized there. What do you think?
  9. that jazz looks amazing, sherwood green is such a classy finish.
