  1. Well.. Been working non-stop on U2start for the past couple of hours, I will now head off for an hour to give myself some quality time alone with the album. I always like a first listen to be special, it's something I remember very well for all past albums.

  6. Just finished my second listen to the album so I feel I can comment now.

    This is the album they have been trying to make for the last decade. I genuinely feel that jumping on the money train has got in the way and too many songs have been completed with the 'we want this on the radio' vibe to them.

    Songs of Innocence is the most personal album since AB. Each and every song has real, true, in your face meaning.

    Stand outs for me are Sleep Like a Baby and Troubles. But then, they are the most 'Pop' like!

    I'm going for a third listen....

  10. Yeah, it's a (very) good album, i hear some Kraftwerk influences, post-disco and even 70'-ies and today's punk.
    1-2 songs are was happened n a Green Day-'s American Idiot album xD
    And there will be better, can't wait for the second new album!
