This is the album they have been trying to make for the last decade. I genuinely feel that jumping on the money train has got in the way and too many songs have been completed with the 'we want this on the radio' vibe to them.
Songs of Innocence is the most personal album since AB. Each and every song has real, true, in your face meaning.
Stand outs for me are Sleep Like a Baby and Troubles. But then, they are the most 'Pop' like!
