1. The EBW 'acoustic' version is mindblowing.
  2. waiting for the postman.....
  3. Little awkward but lovely thing: in Italy the album is available from October 13,Amazon delivered it at my place this morning...that's what I call " a good morning"
  4. It's released on Spotify too. Deluxe included with the acoustic session as separated tracks.
  5. This is quite good:

Eddy Cue, Apple's senior VP of internet software and services, tells Billboard that U2's Songs of Innocence has racked up a staggering 26 million complete downloads since its Sept. 9 release as a free download exclusively to Apple's 500 million global iTunes customers. In total, Cue adds, over 81 million Apple customers experienced songs from Innocence, a global figure that includes plays and streams through iTunes, iTunes Radio and Beats Music. "To help put this into perspective," he says, "prior to this, 14 million customers had purchased music from U2 since the opening of the iTunes Store in 2003."

  6. They did everything to please their fans, starting with cover and now with this. Love the album itself though.
  7. this is actually the lousiest DELUXE (!!!) I've ever seen. Not a single photo inside, not even the four from the digital booklet. and the back is printed dark grey on black.
Probably by calling this a KILLER PACKAGE Oseary meant you can kill everything in some way. The acoustic session is partially even worse than the album itself. The rest of disc 2 isn't much better.
If I could, I would return the 2CD, but I had to open it to see the lousy content. Plus: I only opened it once and the cheap cardboard corners are already trashed.
So there it will die, unplayed, on a shelf.
  8. Haha haha everyone so pissed off about the deluxe edition. Probably the same people who were condemning U2 for not giving them an album.

Seriously just enjoy the music. What the hell does anyone need pictures of four 50 year old guys for? That's probably how the band saw it as well.
