Wow this version is significantly different from the album version. Musically, it feels much fuller than the album version. Elements were taken from both the acoustic and electric versions of the song. Unlike the EBW new mix, which clearly uses the acoustic version as its base, it feels like the electric version was the base version used, but enough of the acoustic version is present to call this a true mix between the acoustic and electric versions.
The biggest difference I can hear that would drive someone to prefer the original album version is Edge's solo towards the end of the song. In this version, it is actually done on piano and not electric guitar. Personally, I liked both iterations of the solo, so this is not a huge factor for me.
I will say that as somebody who has listened to both versions of SFS hundreds of times, this has to be the best version that can possibly exist, except for the version where they change the lyrics to match what is live. I know they have it somewhere. After hearing this, I would definitely buy a physical single for it.
