    There you go.

Keep in mind though, this is when they went in to record records and were still largely under record company deadlines. Now, there are no record company deadlines and with all of Bono's plates, it seems there is less time recording and more time for Edge to tinker as Bono goes off on his political and philanthropical ventures. So, we wait.

And we can bitch. But do we bitch about how long an album takes. Or bitch that maybe they should finish the album and then do worldly outside the band things. As with everything else, there's always an armchair quarterback and expert opinion giver (myself included, of course) But at the end of the day, it's U2's world. I'm just glad to be in it.

I dislike the association too. But I think the video was made by a U2fan.

And it gets the point across in an amusing way.
  6. Here's another, same video, different dialog from 2010.

  7. I TOTALLY miss those days. I got that with both Prince and U2, it was an amazing time.

But that was in 1984, when U2 were making albums like pancakes. Nowadays, it takes them way more time to finish the songs.
