    I'm sure they didn't originally plan it this way - from Bono's and Edge's perspective the "postponement" was about incorporating the recent political atmosphere at the end of 2016 into SOE - but I'm going to choose to view it this way because it's awesome. Nice!

    After the JT tour and the eventual release of SOE, though, I'm going to expect the Experience portion of the I & E Tour to be heavy on 90s material, though.

    Exactly. The Trump election changed everything? Great. That's what the Joshua Tree is for. Make that statement and leave SOE be and get it done. Put out an EP of protest songs between now and June. Whatever... By the time you "Trump up" new songs, that time will have passed, too...

    At least we know one thing... When U2 do decide to call it a day, they have enough songs recorded on the shelves to give as an album every two years until we're all in our old age.

  6. On the other hand. IF the bands statement is true. Trumps first major accomplishment as president of the U.S. would turn out : Getting U2 to play both Exit and Red Hill Mining Town live.

    And effing One Tree Hill as a staple in the setlist. Why do dickheads always get their way in the U2 camp

  9. I wouldn't be surprised if U2 dreams it up again after this tour. and have the album come out 2020 , just in time for the 20th Anniversary of ATYCLB, unless they do a tour for that.
