But if I were a betting man, I'd bet they extend this tour as long as they need to. It's a cash cow and everyone is winning. And there's still Australia and I wouldn't rule out a 2nd European leg. I think there will be virtual high fives around the community when they finally release SOE whenever that is but yeah that's a deal lol. I'm not ruling out them extending it completely just don't expect them to run into December, maybe do Australia and New Zealand in November at a push but that's as far as I would expect. We'll see though the odds are probably stacked more in your favour as it feels like SOE will never be released but I'd say there is at least a chance of a December 1st release date.

Adam's interview basically confirms what I've suspected; that the album has been long completed but they are waiting for the right moment to release it. Ironically, it makes sense that The Joshua Tree Tour is delaying the albums release because releasing it now would devalue both the current tour and the new album.

50-date campaign began in in Vancouver on May 12 and continues across North America, Europe and South America deep into October, with more dates looking likely.

Album long ready, but more dates coming to extend through the year, possibly into new year?
