It certainly was very weak on SOI. I hope they make good decisions with regard to choosing the singles for SOE. Many times they have made questionable choices for singles

Miracle felt more complete during its live performances
  4. The show in Amsterdam was visually great. The setlist was also great. But the sound was horrible. The quiet songs like, Running to stand still, were acceptable standing GA. For tonight I have seating tickets and hopefully the sound will be a lot better than last night. But again I enjoyed the show. The band was in great form. But tonight will be the last show I attend in the Amsterdam Arena.

    wrong topic?
  6. I'm pretty new (in many ways) here. To be honest, U2 had always been a bit "meh" to me, I'd known the singles and enjoyed them for what they were. Then I got SOI... Wow! Loved the album from start to finish. To top that, seeing them on the i&e Tour cemented them as one of my favourite bands (subsequently revisiting their entire catalogue and confirming for me that I was in fact, a moron for almost 30 years)...

Is there a possibility Songs of Experience could lean towards the 90's stuff? This may have been discussed

There's been lots of suggestion so far that it could very well be in the direction of 90s which was one of the best U2 eras musically. I hope they take a few risks on this record that's when they're at their very best!

    Your exactly right!
Risk is where amazing things happen
