  5. I just hear scat singing on that clip, not "American Soul". I imagine that song being slower if the Kendrick Lamar track basically sampled that part from it (which is what it sounds like it did according to Bono).

    Bono talks a whole lot about being a "punk band" and coming from punk rock roots but they act like a teen pop group sometimes.

    Except teen pop groups know they have to put out music consistently in order to stay relevant. One Direction put out an album every year during their run. U2 doesn't need to be that consistent, but being more consistent wouldn't hurt.

    If they get out SOE this year it'll be the least amount of years in between releases in a long time. I think an active band should release music every 2-3 years. This rarely happens anymore and somehow 5-6 years has become the norm.
