1. Not liking this predictions about SOE being the last album. And Bono avoiding the question doesn't help either. At least finish the damn trilogy!!!!
  2. ^^
  3. Today in @FallonTonight U2 play the You're The Best Thing About Me and The Blackout?
  4. With this mention of different genres and sounds, I wonder are they attempting to do what Beyoncé did on Lemonade? She goes through pretty much every genre of music on that album yet still manages to make a cohesive album by focusing on a theme and a story.

Maybe SOE starts with Best Thing and gets darker and bleaker as the world gets crazier and crazier and maybe, like Lemonade it comes back around with a message of hope and love?

I don't know much about Lemonade but I think your right this album will cover many genre's or at least have a bunch of songs that all sound different musically. I think the band have been able to mix things up more so than ever because whilst they will all share the theme of experience, these experiences could vary vastly in terms of subject topic so naturally a song about Bono's missus isn't going to sound musically the same as as song about politics amongst other things.

I think from the 3 songs we've heard so far it's safe to say there is some diversity in sound...

    Hmm,
  11. Wouldn't be surprised if one song is a JT song to help promote the rest of the tour. Guess it depends on what they're to plug. Album, tour, or both?
