  1. It probably will be released in the new year, I can't see it being released anytime during Leg 2.

  3. I don't see where you take that plans for SOE are "alive and well"... Bono just explains the meaning behind the album title and that stuff, he doesn't talk about songs, about the progress on the album and of course not about a possible release date But yeah, it's nice that they at least haven't forgot about it...
  4. My guess is the next month will see a lot of progress in the studio with tour down time. I wouldn't be surprised to see songs start to take shape and maybe make debuts on European Leg (much like Mercy and North Star) but probably won't see the album before next year. Maybe (maybe...) around time of Leg 3...
  5. That's exactly all my thoughts (or hopes). Some song debuts during longer European residencies (Amsterdam, Stockholm, Barcelona, London and Paris) and then full work on album during the first half of 2016, release and go on tour again.

    I bet they get a lot knocked out in studio this month. But that's also my (hope) Release to coincide with restart of tour...
  7. I still contend that they've currently got the album at least 80% done and are simply working on final touches while their think-tank works on marketing. A month might seem like a long time, but it feels a lot shorter (for the band) when that month is wedged between two legs of a world tour.

    My guess is that EU will get a couple new songs and possibly a full release before the end of the leg.

    Haha yeah, that's fair. Re-reading it now and I think you're right - Bono isn't really revealing much! But yes, it is nice to see him/them still talking about it, even if the details are still vague.
