1. So...am I the only one who finds this intriguing? I like this sort of thing, when there are connections between albums and stories - I'm curious now to see what the changes are. Was the same with the concept of the two versions of Sleep Like a Baby for me - which I loved.

P.S. I actually find this rather creative! But it depends on how well the executed it.

Imagine of having new version of Elevation or Boots on new album
  3. Obviously I can’t make much of the tracklist since we’ve not heard all the songs but i’am glad with the number of new songs, not particularly excited about there is a light being a new song For Someone only because I really like song For Someone and think it’s going to be a real effort to enjoy the reworking more but I’m not overly concerned about that. Just really looking forward to hearing it all.
  4. Observation. @u2 lists sides 1-4. A 3 LP deluxe version would have 6 total sides, so there is either more songs not listed, or this breakdown is wrong...

I think it’s only 2lp’s and a cd in the super deluxe boxset. They originally thought it was 3lp’s but got it wrong.
  6. Well... they need to get their shit together then!

Remember on the tour the image on the screen was a young Bono/his son playing the guitar in his room with the one light.

Also maybe this ends the album on a more hopeful note?
  8. Haha, all we need now is the official confirmation and the ability to pre order the thing. Everything’s starting to tie in nicely, hopeful of GOOYOW being released tomorrow with the announcement. Check out the picture of the vinyl boxset if you haven’t already, looks right up your street.
  9. Conceptually there is a link with SoI. 13 could just be a little nod to that.

So so so sad but so so so true.
