1. I am confused......the U2.com site says that if you buy a ticket to the show you will get an 'album'......does this mean a vinyl? can someone please explain. It seems like a duplicate if you pre order the cd or is it?

I think it's the other way, you buy the album you get a presale code
  3. with GOYOOW this album already has more anthems than SOI and NLOTH
  4. So... I don't see anywhere else pre-order is available yet other than u2.com
  5. Does anyone know if pre-ordering from them directly means I'll receive this in 2018 like the fan club gift?
  6. But if you buy the deluxe cd and vinyl separately you will be cheaper. What has the deluxe edition extra then?
  7. I cannot help but to feel a bit underwhelmed by the songs released so far (especially with all of the latest U2 albums in mind).

Blackout clearly stands out for me, it really rocks and has some punch to it. Love the song & beat

Loved the live version of Little things (especially on Kimmel) as it strikes a sensitive cord but definitely not as much as Every breaking wave for example

Both GOOYOW and You're the best thing: ok songs in my opinion, no more no less (again compared to other songs on SOI, NLOTH, etc...). Releasing these songs ahead of the album I would expect them to be awesome like Arcade fire released Everything now, or The war on drugs thinking of a place... which really hit the mark.

That being said, happy to hear the new music and excited for the new tour!

    Poster and newspaper
  9. Glad I didn't resubscribe for the presale code. I like it that they give it when you pre-order the album, which I would have done anyway. Although it might get a bit more busy during the presale for album purchasers, which will be after the subscriber presale (http://www.u2.com/static/index/index/content/soe_preorder).
