1. I've had my third listen now and more convinced then ever that this album we'll be a grower. I'm also sure many will be disappointed that it doesn't really rock that hard.

I can't help get the feeling that this album could have been 11 tracks long, then for some reason they added on the two lullabies at the beginning and end. I'm not critising the two songs specifically, but if the album had opened with Lights Of Home and closed with Love Is Bigger... it would have worked just as well, maybe even better. Sometimes less is more.

Agreed -- 13 should've been a hidden track at the end. LIAWHL should've been an interlude before The Blackout, in the sense that you're trying to hold on to the only thing you have, then The Blackout hits and the lights go out -- and then finally you get it back, because Love Is Bigger Than Anything In Its Way.
  3. The poll is not here in the page, right?
  4. Finally listening now

Fuck! The first two tracks are quite something, and even best thing sounds better in context. Got damn folks.
  5. I know it’s honeymoon phase and all, but man...this is definitely the most interesting U2 has sounded for a few albums now.

Want it? Or are you waiting for release?
