  2. Still, the album could've used some trimming. Remove at least GOOYOW, put Showman as a b-side (or send it straight to Ross' bin) and SOE will be tighter.
  3. I haven't heard it yet, but I'm kind of pleased they went with a longer album. I guess it just gives them more space to play in, which I like.
  4. Lights of Home goes kinda 4hero - LesFleurs for the coda.
  5. I really like GOOYOW. I think the album couldn’t have done without 13, but it is early times yet.

    I have to say I'm totally pleasantly surprised by how great the album is after a first listen. Who's to say how we'll all feel after a few weeks, months, years, etc. - but for now let's bask in the bliss of not just a new U2 record, but what seems to be a really really great one
