    Its a stupid headline as Edge just says the process is comparable to Zooropa. There is no word of him saying anything sounds like it.
  5. Hopefully they go back go answer the question of why they wanted to be a band in the first place, listen to the bands that excited them, and-

    Even if they said it sounded exactly like Zooropa, everyone knows the process: "NLOTH" is experimental, "the best experience ever in the studio" (Eno or Lanois, I always forget who dropped that idiotic comment.) Pre album hype has always been the same type of comments. Just glad to get an album at this point.

    You can say that again bro. For me if they put a whistle album it's great.

    The Edge compares next U2 album 'Songs of Experience' to Zooropa

    The one prior to SoI would've been like Zooropa had they continued in the style of CoL and Fez.
  9. Well, we have been listening to a lot of "The Police". We have been listening to the first three Police albums – realising that these records are minimum masterpieces. They are right up there with the best work ever made, right up there with the Beatles. And that has become more and more of an influence. It's an influence on our album "Songs of innocence". But I think it's gonna be even more of an influence on our next record "Songs of experience". - Bono
