1. U2oholics Brotherhood
  2. Ha, yeah, it's definitely too soon to say anything like that for sure. I'm pretty sure SOI is secure in the top spot for me. But... I'm loving this album way more than I expected. It manages to do a lot of different sounds in a way that doesn't sound like it's just patched together. It's really something
  3. Do not drink and text in U2 forums.
  4. HECK, I swaer that by now I'm not even bothered by the fact that both lead singles use the damn same G, D, A, Bm chord progression for the chorus This four Irish bastards make me abandon even my most profound beliefs.
  5. Is it just me, or Best Thing and Blackout don't really fit 100% with the rest of the album?
  6. Blackout is misplaced. Rob mentioned to put it as song 2 and interchange places with Lights of Home.
Best Thing belongs to another album.
  7. Just posted:

About The Blackout: you're right, it doesn't fit thematically nor sonically. Even Better Than The Real Thing did a threesome with the Pop album and Hold Me Thrill Me Kiss Me Kill Me while Danger Mouse was looking through his filthy binoculars
  8. TO ME:
Blackout fits perfectly in the album.
Best Thing sounds way too different to the other 12 songs, but in the context, it fits.
  9. This is U2's most geological album yet... dinosaurs, mass extinctions, and ocean crust all get mentioned.
  10. Keep your hands where I can see them!
