1. You guys are easy to impress, aren't you!?
  2. Quote from the RS article about Edge's Fender Stuff "It's late March, and the guitarist is in Los Angeles at a studio where he is working on the beginning stages of U2's next record" - BEGINNING stages?

Back to square zero! Here we go again! Bets are now open! New album will be out in:

    [ ]2016
    [ ]2017
    [ ]2018
    [ ]2019

  3. I just hope they keep the riffs as raw as possible for once, instead of the polished rubbish...
I remember an amazing riff on the NLOTH sessions that got just went somewhere on the background of, I think, Magnificent...
  4. I saw Invisible on the Tonight Show, and i thought, this will be POPMART II, how wrong i was.

I remember that it sounded great, and they overproduced it.
Their raw tracks are much better.
  6. The last song sounds really like their old work from the early 80's IMO

I'd have to take this with a grain of salt. There's no way that can be accurate. By all accounts it should be almost done. Ugh, they better not be in the "beginning phases."
  8. There's still hope, RS messed it up and it's really meant the beginning stages of final mixing / mastering or the like. But then again - wouldn't that be someone like a producer doing this? It's all very mysterious, to say the least. Why is Edge working alone on a U2 album (regardless of the stage it is in)? Doesn't make sense, does it? Bono wouldn't let him mix a whole U2 album without getting in the way.

Well Adam said a few weeks ago they were starting to work on the second half.
  10. If we get another 5year odysee like between NLOTH and SOI, I tell ya, I'll go and visit Bono and gonna tell him something!
