    I'm with you on skipping Get Out.. and American Soul. I'm definitely warming back up to Best Thing in the context of the album, though.

    So yeah, I play the first 3, skip those two, and definitely listen through Love Is Bigger...sometimes I skip There Is A Light, sometimes I skip Ordinary Love, always listen to Book Of Your Heart and the Lights of Home string mix, and sometimes skip the Kygo mix of Best Thing.

    I agree up to a point. First five songs are kind of a warm up act. I enjoy them, but I'm really looking forward to the main show, if you know what I mean.
  3. The one thing that bothers me about American Soul is the ‘chorus’, they could have done so much more then: ‘You and I are rock and roll’... It kills the song for me...

    Absolutely. For me it is simple. You can judge an album after they played the songs live...

  7. The highlights of the I&E tour, for me at least.
    The Miracle, Cederwood Road, Raised by Wolves. And Every breaking Wave, because the way it was played.
    But those were the songs that stood out for me on SOI. (Besides the 2 additional tracks...)

    But yep. It kills the song for me. Like I said, they could have done much better. Now it just comes over like they had to make a simple sing-a-long song...
