  3. I'm not really fan of CB. Not bad, chorus is catchy and lyrics are nice, but all in all it's just 80's disco. If they want to do dance songs, MOFO is 1000000000x better dance song...
  4. They should get themselves booked as the musical guest on Strictly Come Dancing and perform this
  5. Crystal Ballroom is a awsome song and also a great surprise.

    But do not understand why this song is not on SOI.

  6. As someone mentioned earlier, maybe they felt one song about Bono's mum was enough? ... What I can't understand is how the mediocre Iris won over this awesome song in that race (if it took place).
  7. does anybody else feel like during the guitar solo the sound/volume kinda wavers?

  8. For sure, heard that at first listen through headphones. The guitar gets more prominent as a mid-sound channel, the rest is slightly pushed to the back. The only thing that irritates me in this song though.

    Take that back! I love Iris. This song is awesome but they're two completely different songs.

    I have to agree. On my own personal running order Iris is out along with The Miracle.
    Lucifer's Hands, Crystal Ballroom come in at tracks 1 & 2. Then, Song for Someone acoustic replaces its album counterpart and Invisible closes out 'side 1' instead of Iris.
    Much better to my ears. Could of been a 5 star album.

    Agreed 100%. Even if this song isn't focused just on Iris, still the line "Everyone is here tonight / Everyone but you" speaks volumes for me over "Iris says i will be the death of her / It was not me." There's something wonderfully haunting here for me that isn't on "Iris."
