    What do we think of the songs in their stripped shape?
    How do they compare to the album versions?

    Would love to hear Iris(hold me close) in these sessions.
    Every braking wave and Song for Someone stand out to me. Brilliant voice from B man!
  3. Every Breaking Wave is flawless. 10/10. Brought me to tears on the last "If you go."
    California was great too! 8.5/10
    Cedarwood Road was pretty solid. 7/10
    Raised By Wolves was cool. Probably the version we'll see live. 9/10
    Song for Someone was predictable. Wasn't bad, I prefer the album version though. 8/10.
    The Miracle was a great. You can tell they had fun with that one. 8/10

    It was interesting to hear Bono's voice with no echo, reverb, etc. It was almost as if he were singing in my living room! The scratchy, raspy, aged sound in his voice was prominent, but it made these songs (Especially EBW) so beautiful.
  4. Bonos voice is excellent on these versions. I reckon we will see/hear these versions on the promo tour
  5. I hope not, looking at the past there isn't an acoustic peformance which beats a full band, normal peformance imo. At least not when they play it for a longer period.

    Other than that, I think Bono sounds good and Raised By Wolves has improved. Cedarwoord Road is nothing without the music imo, really hope they will play it live in the album way.
  6. why did they do 1 big track? pain in the ass when im driving and want to get to one particular song.
  7. It's a pain if you're listening to the original CD and can't skip through it.
  8. They knew the acoustic tracks were so bad that they made it as easy as possible to skip them all.
