  1. I have seen in various places on U2 related websites, a caricature of what appears to be U2's Boy, a very rudimentary (like a 7 year iold drew it) line drawing of a boy in a helmet. Possibly based on the 1980-1990 cover. Like I said, I've seen it in passing, but now that I am actively trying to find it, I can't. I have googled just about every combination of "U2, Boy, comic, drawing, sketch, logo, helmet", etc., with no luck.

    Does anybody here know where to get a sample of it?

    And also, what is the story behind it? When was it first used, etc.

  2. I believe you may be talking about the old logo used by U2Wanderer, another great U2 database. If you scroll to the bottom of the site, you can still see the logo in the bottom left.

    I'm not sure where it comes from, but maybe shooting them a tweet would get you your answer, if no one here gets to it first
  3. it looks like the babyface from the zoo tv tour yelling "mama". just with a helmet.
