Considering that my ears bleed listening to it and theres nothing really audible I think it would be dumb to assume what this may or may not sound like in its finished state. A few 'maybe' lyrics and no real music from an early rough cut of a song doesn't really give any pointers as far as i'm concerned. I just don't want it to be 'Leave Behind' or Bomb and I can't see it being similar to either.

Nope, me either. Thumbs up for that.
  3. well, after hearing a bit more, I could just sort some kind of guitar sounds...(I tried all : big speakes, small speakers, headphones....didn't help)
But I think I'll wait for something a bit more audible, cause now there isn't really something to give an opinion about...at least I can't say anything about this particular bit.
  4. I have yet to hear this... awesome.

I've listened to Who bootlegs where you can barely hear Daltrey, like say 1971 (all you Who fans know exactly what I mean), or as early as 1964 (High Numbers era). All I know is I will decipher the lyrics to this song, again... With that last clip I didn't really find what I was looking for (pun totally intended).

Here's what I had from last time:

I couldn't resist... I predict things way too much, the scary thing is when they become true (i.e. I joked the Tampa Bay Rays would do well this year, even made a bet with my friend on it, and guess who's first in the AL East?)

    Anyway:

Perhaps it has changed a bit, but I have yet to hear the new clip!

Good to hear that they are working on things but these recordings... they are not so telling.

The quality is not so great but also, from the sound of it, it was recorded by some that went up to Bono or Edge's house? That seems a bit questionable to me. It does seem a bit invasive.

If that's true, then I don't like it at all.
  10. All well and good to have some *new sounds* but it's not all well and good to go stalking someone.

They were recorded around Hanover Quay by a friend of an active member over at Interference, from what their forums say. No stalking involved.

I listened to it on repeat last night for about an hour on my headphones while I was working on other stuff, just to have it in the back of my head. The main thing here I think is important is that Bono's voice is top quality--it's back, if you think he lost it, and it's better than the Vertigo Tour if you think his voice sounded fine then.

Just nice to get the pre-album anticipation and excitement in the form of these clips.
