I'm thinking this one...it looks decent enough for under $300.

By the way Gerard, how do those headphones do on the classic? Is it still too sharp sound or is it toned down a fair bit?

Drew that phone is terrible. My mum has one and it is just diabolical.

The CX300's are top drawer with the Classic. They come with my stamp of approval Stick the EQ to treble booster and they are great
  2. Ali, Windows 7 is looking half-decent (and hopefully not like Vista) - and is coming apparently later this year as a preview build called M1 or M2. That means give it another year or so after (2009) and it'll likely be here. I'm getting really technical now - and as well, it will use supposedly an Office2007 interface.

And...http://d6.allthingsd.com/20080527/windows-7/ - they're gonna be showing it for the first time.

I'm still looking for a new phone, so I'll keep you updated.
  3. Bought myself a pair of Sennheiser CX 300's a couple of days ago from Play for £15 and I think they're great. Really is amazing to walk in the street listening to the Joshua Tree and everywhere looking oh so peaceful due to the noise cancelling, can't hear the traffic at all. Also finally match my black 160GB Classic. Love them.

  4. Guys...I need a working mkv to avi converter...and I mean a free one! Any suggestions?

No worries. That's a lot of bloody stuff, isn't it.

  8. Alright man, the tutorial got me problems, anyway I tried it ended with errors. The link you gave is shareware again, it limits the output (or so it says on the download page).
But on the last page of that tutorial someone had suggested Prism Video Converter, I tried it and it's great, so here it goes for anyone interested:

freeware, user friendly interface...and it works!
    Thanks Drew!
