As for WOWY on the Sydney video, I will have to double check that tone. It is more than likely the CAE rack wah system that was built by Bob Bradshaw and employed around the time of the Zooropa tour. But again, I will have to re-check the DVD.
He stopped using the Infinite Guitar during ZOO TV. It can be seen in the early legs of the tour but by Sydney it was out, in favor of the E-Bow. The infinite guitar used to shock Dallas often. It was a prototype and hence probably didn't wear to well after touring through The Joshua Tree tour, Love Town tour and 2 years of ZOO tours.
The Tele on Vertigo was not the same one used on "The Unforgettable Fire" live during the "The Unforgettable Fire", "The Joshua Tree" and "Love Town" tours.
The Tele used for TUF was a natural finish, looked like ash. If memory serves it is a 199-71 or 1972. You could see the woodgrain in it really good. (Also seen in the Making Of The Unforgettable Fire video)
That said, I do have a picture of Edge playing a different Telecaster than the blonde "Vertigo"Tele or the white "Sunday Bloody Sunday" Tele. The picture is from one of the Anaheim shows. (Vertigo tour). So I will have to do a bit more investigating.
