What You Need is my all time favorite. Disappear is good also, but sometimes it seems a little cheesy. And The Gift is absolutely amazing.
  2. Never Tear Us Apart at Rockpalst on there last tour with Michael. he alredy looks somewhat depressed, although not suicidal at this point.

Yeah. Absolutely amazing. He just had an amazing connection with the crowd. I think he had more stage presence than Bono, even.
  4. What You Need live in Holland 1997. Check out Tim's tele! They really changed the arrangement for the Elegantly Wasted tour.

  5. Do Tim and Kirk ever use anything other than Strats and Teles?
  6. I didn't know Andrew ever played guitar live. I think Kirk, might be the best rock sax player of all time. Anyone who says sax dont belong in rock need to listen to this, and some Glenn Frey. Correct me if I'm wrong, but Garry's the only memeber who never sings backup.

Tim uses a G & L sometimes, and in the early days he had a Red Les Paul classic, I've also seen him with a goldtop on the last tour. Kirk really sticks with Strats and Teles, although I've seen him with a Red Gibson ES-335. Andrew has used a tele like Edge's UF one for years. He had a really nice Gibson (ES-335 I believe) got rid of it around 1994.
  8. The One Thing at The Devore festival. If I find some more of there set from this I'll share it.

Nice to know U2 wasen't the only band with bad hair.

Actually, Garry does sing a bit. He wasn't credited with it for years, but he's now listed as Bass / Vocals on some sites. And yes, Andrew does play live, on Need You Tonight, What You Need, etc. He also adds some percussion on New Sensation, Mediate, Wild Life, etc. As well as playing the harmonica on Who Pays The Price and Suicide Blonde.

    I've always loved this performance
  11. I think Michael is the aussie version of The Lizard King. It might be the letter pants, but he really had the frontman thing down. Did you know Tim had a nervous Breakdon in the 90s? The combination of his divorce, his mothers death, Michael death, a knee surgery, and drugs, and alchol was too much.
  12. I'm assuming Andrew on percushion is simple things like tambourine, shakers, and maybe bongos.
