    Yeah, I've heard about that. Kirk had one too, I believe. Also forgot to mention that Michael played a Black Strat I believe, for the 2 songs he played guitar on.

  3. What songs did Michael play guitar on? Was he any good, or was it Bono style? I'm assuming Tim on tambourine is like how Pete Townshend used to do it with The Who. Meaning when he doesen't come in till midway through a song.

    He was better than Bono, but still wasn't that good. He played guitar on She Is Rising from Elegantly Wasted and one of the earlier songs. Night Of Rebellion from Underneath The Colours, I think. Not completely sure though.

  8. I hate asking all these questions, but I'm a pretty new INXS fan, and you seem to know your shit concerning them. Does Gary use Jazz or Precision bass guitars. Also, I dont suppose you know what kind of amps they each use. I always try to find out this stuff when I start listening too a band.

    No problem at all. It's nice to actually talk about them a little. I believe Gary uses Jazz bass guitars. They all pretty much use Fender amps, although I've seen a couple of Vox's being used in the early days. Don't know the specifics about the amps, though.
  10. Thats more than enough info for me. I believe if Michael haden't killed himself, Elegantly Wasted coulda been the begining of a great comeback as ATYCLB was for U2. You ever realize that its really hard to descrbe how they sound. I'd say The Stones, meets U2, meets Prince.

    I'm not just saying that, either.

    no one before or since has done anything nearly as spectacular as ZooTV (and, to a lesser extent, Popmart)

    GNR and RATM would have been top 10 in an ideal world aswell.
