1. How much were the tickets for the previous tour? For venues in the UK?

    I'm just curious.

I think this is a good topic. First of its kind. People can refer to this so there aren't any questions in other topics. I heard they were much cheaper than US prices... which roughly were $50
  3. If you listen to Bono on the final Elevation Tour rehearsal before opening night in Miami, you hear him mention that the tickets were $130. I think it all depends on where you're seated.

  7. I think I paid just over £50 for a ticket to the vertigo gigs in Manchester
  8. I paid £50 for Vertigo Glasgow and £55 for Cardiff.

Incidentally, my ticket for Edinburgh in 1987 was £14

Where were you sitting/standing? Is it cheaper to stand or sit.

Glasgow was standing, Cardiff was standing (lower tier seating as well). Standing was on the pitch.

    Edinburgh was seated.
Generally you'll pay more to sit.

cheers, next year I think it will try to get standing, all the gigs i've been to have been seated (something to do with going with 50 year old parents)
  12. I saw Bruce Springsteen in Manchester last week where I was in the pit (although I did suffer the next day). I'm 51 and wasn't the oldest there. Maybe you just need to feed them some extra vitamins.
