  1. hello friends,
    this topic is about the next edition of the incredible Pimm'book: a concert documentary.
    If someone have news about the futur edition, I wait for this,
    I know that, unfortunatly, Pimm was dead few years ago, but I hope that someone works for an updated edition!
    What do you think about this book? Am I alone to wait a new edition?
    Comments about each gig for the Vertigo tour are wait.

  3. Oh, it's not possible, I can't believe this,
    It's the better book about the life of the band, an advice, buy it! the last edition, you will read many detals and the story of every gig, it's a wonderful book!
  4. i read it so much that it's falling apart
    it's a great book for every U2 fan ....
    some people called it the U2 bible ....
    bono used it to read there own history so he can remember the names
    of theatre or clubs they did play in the early eighties ...
    so he can use them in the shows ...
    pimm jall de la para was a close dutch friend of the band ...

  6. i opened a topic about this wondering about the same thing. it is by far the U2 book i get the most use out of! an essential for any fan interested in their live career! someone on here said it apparently is updated after every 2 tours which sucks because i want one now! i even have pics i'm dying to submit

    And that's why one should buy it. And not download it from the internet :-)

    As great as the book is, I don't think there's need for an updated version. It's all pretty well covered online, so that a printed version just seems obsolete.

    downloading a book seems dumb. Handy for copy and pasting info and stuff though. I shall buy it some day. W
  9. i've got both editions of the book sat on my book shelf at home.
    the online version is good for a quick reference though.
    I would never advocate downloading without buying, just that surely most people on here have that book anyway...

    it's gotta be reissued so it can have a Vertigo picture on the cover! i'm all for an update, just like Into the Heart will be updated after the new album
  11. As much as I'd like an update, I don't want it to happen too soon as being a tight bastard I don't want to have to keep buying it over and over! Though I no doubt would were there a Vertigo tour update between now and the next tour. Great book it must be said
