Got my hands on a light weight purple water proof tour jacket that has u2 and the popmart logo and wording on the breast along with the sponsors names on one of the sleeves ,that are all embroidered into the material. Anyone know any more about these jackets and is it rare etc?. Supposed to have come from one of the crew on the tour

  10. Its defo legit.

    I had one also but sold it a few months back. I got £180 for it. Just didn't fit me anymore. There was a lovely green and purple popmart t-shirt also which i didn't get but now regret.

    Is it rare. Well i guess all the jackets are what you would call pretty rare. How many people buy t-shirts at gigs. Lots They normally do inspite of the price. I mean the quality of t-shirts are of a £5 maximum which they sell for £20-40 at gigs. Not many people opt to spend more on a jackets. Rare well I would guess that a maximum of 500 people have these in the Uk maybe a few thousand in the US. But that really is a guess it could be alot less or a lot more.

    I still have a elevation tour jacket, which also doesn't fit. Its for sale if wanted.
