  10. Hope you've moved into the rehab center okay. I'm still blown away by this whole thing and even more blown away by what seems to be such a positive attitude on your end! Good on you, man. I truly think that a good outlook and smiles everyday from you yourself and the people around you will aide in the healing process. Take care, dude, and keep us updated! *hug*
  11. Hey all,

Quick update from my end. I was released from one hospital yesterday and transferred to a different one about 30 minutes away, but this one has a dedicated spinal chord injury wing, and it's really the best thing for me now and my recovery. It was 2 weeks straight in the hospital and most of that was just sitting around waiting for whatever test was next, where as this acute rehab facility really allows me to work with occupational therapy, physical therapy and spinal chord doctors every day. I feel great about being here and getting the personalized attention that will make my recovery as easy as possible.

Sensation levels in my legs are about the same as a few days ago. My left leg seems to be having more trouble than the right, and the tingling sensation is about mid-thigh on the left, but just above the knee on the right leg. The doctors and physical therapists are optimistic about my muscles trying to fire when they put me through various leg excersises though, which is really encouraging for me, given that I couldn't move my legs at all two weeks ago tonight.

Thanks again for all the encouragement here on the forums. It's been weird being away from U2start for so long, but means a lot to me to check in and read the well wishes and good luck cheers.

    Hanging in there,
    jeremy

I'm ready, ready for what's next
Ready to duck, ready to dive, ready to say 'I'm glad to be alive'
    I'm ready for the push."

EDIT- Oh, and tomorrow (the 10th) is my 27th birthday....never thought I'd be holed up in a hospital for my birthday, but I've got some friends stopping by tomorrow night for a "party" to make the most of the situation!
