  4. Hello all!

    I've successfully downloaded Popmart, Santiago iPod ready into my new (and first) iPod using WinRar. When I did this I just clicked on the file and it automatically came up in iTunes but when I tried to do the same with Buenos Aires it kept just coming up through Quick Time Player and not into iTunes. I have made sure that I have downloaded all 7 parts so I'm unsure why it hasn't worked on this one. Can anyone offer any advice please as I am still very new at the whole iPod thing!!

    Thanks in advance for any help that any one can offer!!

  5. if you can play the file through quicktime then the file is fine. Quicktime is the itunes video player. Use the 'file' then 'import' options on itunes to import the file and it will sync to your ipod when you plug it in.
  6. Thanks for that - tried to do that but now get a message saying that the file cannot be imported because it does not appear to be a valid exported file. Sorry to be a pain but any ideas??

    I have no Idea there. Just make sue the file name still has the .mp4 extension. If not then hopefully drew can suggest something

    Try just dragging it into the iTunes video part. What I also notice that iTunes (nor any video programs I know of) accept .mpr files. Maybe try updating iTunes as well or re-installing it. By the way, does it work on classic, video and touch platforms? If not try doing it through Videora and re-exporting it.

    No worries. Hopefully he got it sorted - has iTunes been updated since he downloaded the video and had the mandatory Apple stuff-up?

    Maybe he could post a screenshot or write the exact error message he's getting, what version of iTunes and what type of iPod he is using (5.5G, touch, 5G, classic, nano 3G...), so I can take a guess at what the problem could be with a bit more information rather than just what's he posted.

    I haven't downloaded it as I converted the DVD months ago as an MP4 - but judging from your other posted ones they definitely do work.
  11. just to let you know i have a 160 classic .tried all of the above and the message still says the same "The file buenos aires part 1 cannot be imported because it does not appear to be a valid exported file"

    have you downloaded all the parts? When extracted there should be no 'part 1'
