Cool. I've got a 16 GB iPod Touch

If it could sing one line from one song, it would be:

"I gotta go, I'm running out of space. There's a lot of things, If you could should rearrange"

I also have my old 30 GB iPod video. The box has a picture of Bono singing Original of the Species. I remember watching Bono sing Original of the Species on the iPod commercial too. One of my favs. I think tv has a lot to do with what people buy for music, as it does with me. The only things that weren't tv inspired were the Who and the Rolling Stones. Any offshoots of those bands were self led.
Self determination just feels awesome, especially if the end product is as good as hoped, or even better. For instance, I've had a music project that is like a "soundtrack to my life" sort of thing. Started last summer. So far I've had Summer '07, Fall '07, Winter '07, and recently finished Spring '08. I've started my Summer '08 playlist, but I don't expect it to be as good as '07's. 07's has flow. One trend leads into another. This one kinda has mini "sets", the first 15 songs seems like a setlist. Then again, it only has 15 songs. Now that I think about it, screw the mini sets way I've done some of the older playlists. Summer is long, and isn't in segments. Here's to following no rules for my new playlist!

Sorry about that rant... I'm preping for my English exam tomorrow...
  2. Anybody around?
  3. Not the reason how I found U2, but perhaps a twist of fate??????

    iPod was purchased Dec 2005. I became a U2 fan Aug 2007.

Oh, you've got the U2 iPod. Lucky... so how's that entire discography too?

That's alright, I don't mind about you bragging:

    1 30 GB iPod video
    1 16 GB iPod Touch

    somebody stop me...

lol, I would if I could, but my CD player died a long time ago, and at least with mp3s you can listen to more than one CD at a time

It's only half 9 in the morning here so there's a whole day yet to go pretty much! The only sucky point is that I have an exam on Greek tragic plays at 1pm, i.e. a few hours for my A-levels

Other than that it's going alright so far!

Re. new guitar, yeeeeeees I did

Took that with my webcam late last night, hence it's not a great pic but you get the idea lol! Epiphone LP Custom with white alpine finish, so I feel a bit like Edge

By the by, did the e-mail work?

EDIT - I'm off for now, catch you guys later!

"Monday morning, eighteen years of dawning"

Can't get over that coincidence, rather cool me thinks!

No worries mate, glad to be of service!

Re. covers, I can't do videos lol but I can record stuff whilst I'm on it (and so you can imagine me playing it ), and I was thinking about WGRYWH, but at the moment I'm probably more inclined to play it with an acoustic over the backing track, because I haven't quite mastered everything electric-wise, and there's something magical about using an acoustic for that song...

...I will eventually get a full electric version done (one day)! The main problem at the moment is quite simply that I'd need to re-edit the backing track or something to fit in the solo, plus the fact it's a bastard trying to slap the different parts over each other (e.g. vocals, guitar etc.) 'cause they go out of sync.

I've been meaning to do so many different covers of late, but I just haven't got round to them. One day though, one day...

If I could get some mates together to play the different parts, e.g. rhythm and bass...that would be nifty!
