Originally posted by stj0691Ok, I've seen some other topics up here about other bands (Coldplay, the Killers, etc.). So, I thought I might share this band with everyone here. They have two awesome albums out. The band consists of the already famous White Stripe member Jack White. There also is Brendan Benson, the other singer in the band. The rhythm section are the Greenhornes rhythm section, Patrick Keeler and Jack Lawrence. Broken Boy Soldiers was their debut, and a very good debut it was. Favs of mine are Steady As She Goes, Hands, and Intimate Secretary. Their second album, Consolers of the Lonely, was released in March of this year. My favs off that album are the title track, Salute Your Solution, You Don't Understand Me, and Rich Kid Blues. What a band!

Rings a bell, but I can't say I'm likely to get into them - I don't like Jack White all that much lol.

What have you got against Jack White? I love his melding of traditional blues and new tones. He's the first to use the Electro-Harmonix POG on a album. It's the cool pitch distortion on "Blue Orchid"
I love that he uses nothing guitars like the Airline and with The Raconteurs, the custom/Gretsh-like models that he had made.
