  1. Hello friends, this is quite possibly the last thing i'll ever write as a 17 year old, or from your perspective a 'kid'.Naturally, the strangest flurry of emotions is hitting me town today, and so i'm writing my own little 'out of control'.

    Its 6 am now, a i've been up since for listening to Boy and SIGUR ROS on loop, getting inspiration and just thinking
    I'm looking to bring in this most special 18th birthday in a spiritual way the boy album would empathise to.
    Can i ask you guys how you spent your 18th's?

    My main question in this song is, "Is this the end of innocence?" so thats the question i put to you guys, is it the end of those feelings and we held as a child or as U2 state can we "go back there, and stay a while"?

    I've actually never had a drrink, took a pledge to never drink till i'm 18 so on Friday night.

    You know drew, i may very well throw the idea of drinking to the wind, and renew it for the rest of my life. Just depends how i feel really.

  10. Are we three the only people on this forum today?! Anyways, happy birthday Irish mate! About my 18th birthday...well, we don't go that wild here in Iran for the 18th, so nothing special really, I just got some good gifts

    go out and get smashed and make a complete fool of yourself my friend. your 18 and you can only get away with that kind of carry on for a few a years so make the most of it.
