it was alright... although i must say the performance you're uploading was way better.
  5. jesus your a hard man to please . I thought it was awesome at mtv !!! there are a couple of more promo shows over the next two weeks so expect some more performances
  6. Gave the album a good listen today. Best songs are Viva La Vida, Violet Hill, Lovers in Japan and Yes. The rest is good but not that special. This album isn't groundbreaking or anything. Just a good album with 3 or 4 big hits. Good work though.

    WHY DID THEY RESCHEDULE?

there were two dates for Boston, now there's only one! That date is August 4th. There was a show in Boston for the 3rd of November. What the heck? I'm sorry, but come on, that's just not cool what they did. I was hoping to at least get into one. Now it will be harder to get tix.

    Sorry about that...

Like I said earlier, I'm thinking that the rescheduling is due to the lackluster buzz around the albums 1st two singles and the mediocre ticket sales. Better to play one night to a sold out house than 2 nights to half empty houses. IMHO it would be better to start small and add shows if ticket sales look good, rather than pull shows that aren't selling well. But this is all speculation of course *wink*

if only U2 had picked up on that during Popmart. They played to 26,000 one night in an 85,000 capacity arena. God that would be brutal

I used to rule the world
Seas would rise when I gave the word
Now in the morning I sweep alone
Sweep the streets I used to own

I used to roll the dice
Feel the fear in my enemy's eyes
Listen as the crowd would sing:
"Now the old king is dead! Long live the king!"

One minute I held the key
Next the walls were closed on me
And I discovered that my castles stand
Upon pillars of salt and pillars of sand

I hear Jerusalem bells a ringing
    Roman Cavalry choirs are singing
Be my mirror my sword and shield
My missionaries in a foreign field
For some reason I can't explain
Once you go there was never, never an honest word
That was when I ruled the world
    (Ohhh)

It was the wicked and wild wind
Blew down the doors to let me in.
Shattered windows and the sound of drums
People couldn't believe what I'd become

    Revolutionaries wait
For my head on a silver plate
Just a puppet on a lonely string
Oh who would ever want to be king?

I hear Jerusalem bells a ringing
    Roman Cavalry choirs are singing
Be my mirror my sword and shield
My missionaries in a foreign field
For some reason I can't explain
I know Saint Peter will call my name
    Never an honest word
But that was when I ruled the world
    (Ohhhhh Ohhh Ohhh)

I hear Jerusalem bells a ringing
    Roman Cavalry choirs are singing
Be my mirror my sword and shield
My missionaries in a foreign field
For some reason I can't explain
I know Saint Peter will call my name
    Never an honest word
But that was when I ruled the world
    Oooooh Oooooh Oooooh

let me know if it works
hope it cheers up my man in boston struggling to get tickets !!!!
