  1. I personally really like them.

    you have to admit they've stood the test of time a whole lot better than Metallica. (St. Anger springs to mind)

    I also think Dave Mustaine is one of the best shredders around (and I don't even like shred a whole lot).

    Props to the D-man, if you will.

  4. 'Fraid I'm not a metal head, but they played the UEA in Norwich recently, some of my friends went and were lucky to get out alive lol. I like gigs, I'm up for moshing, but there's a point when it stops becoming a gig and more a fight for survival - I side with those who stop before that point lol
  5. Dave Mustaine isn't an easy person to like, even for a christian brother.

    I like "The System has failed", though. To my ears their most satisfying album yet.

  6. The guys in Metallica kicked Mustaine out for being a jerk. And that coming from a band that has often been jerks.

    (proof, they treated Jason Newsted like sh*t the entire time he was in the band)

    In Mustaine's defense, he was a horrible drunk in the early days. Legend has it, he doesn't drink anymore.

    But yeah... Kirk and Lars and James of Metallca can be 'ball-busters' on a good day and just plain jerks on a bad day.

    yeah Lars and James were assholes with him because they couldnt handle Cliff's death

    About Megadeth, I don't really listen to them, they're my least favorite band from the Big Four (of thrash)
