last month i drove thru gila bend az & as I was entering saw two USAF jets shown in the Spanish eyes video yeah' they are still there after 25 yrs ago!!!!!!! be great to locate the bar where the group was hanging out & playing pool in Gila Bend of course some of the casino's shown are still in Las vegas
When I saw the video for Spanish Eyes I was floored!!!
There's a scene where Bono is driving in an old pick up truck and the camera focuses on the highway, The highway sign appears and says Las Cruces El Paso!!! I couldn't belive it. Me and my brother spent time examining exactly where he was. I live in El Paso and have lived in Las cruces as well so this was special!!!
I also think the river and the red and white asarco plant tower are in the video but we cannot prove it.
I have also wonderd where that little bar is!! And when i go vegas I think of U2!!! Gotta Love It!!!
of course some of the casino's shown are still in Las vegas
