    Pointless, yes. But they do it. Somethings are sequencers, somethings are played by a person you don't see, this is a fact.
  2. I've been thinking about that. U2 has had no membership turnover. Bands like the Stones and Oasis that have had much turnover can easily add backing musicians. U2 are four men onstage, they've got that down to a science.
  3. I wouldn't like them live if they hired extra people for an entire show // tour (the few times they had "help" on Original of the Spieces was just fine)

    Yes, it is fact. And it is also fact that it's worked out great without extra people on stage for 24 years too.

    It would be really silly to have some other musician up there to play two notes on a keyboard on 5 songs of the set. Better keep him hidden. I agree.
