    Paris being July 4th, 1987.
  3. Thanks for replying!

I've downloaded the 11-07-1987-bootleg version of Trip through your wires, and it merely begins with Bono playing the harmonica, not him mentioning anything about Frank Sinatra. I'm very confused since the rest of you seem so convinced he does. I would be grateful for an explanation!

And Still, what show is that nickname for? Is it the 11-07 one, or some other show?

Bono says it at the end of the previous track, I Will Follow. It's around 4 min 28 secs.

"Mountains in a Blue Sky," as stated before, is the name, Denver 11-07-1987.
  5. I see.

Still, however, the version I'm looking for includes the given introduction within the song named "Trip through your wires", and not in the end or beginning of any other song. So I still don't think that's the one I'm referring to.

Does anyone know a version that fulfills these stated conditions?

    Doesn't sound like it.

Your version probably just has a different track splitting than the version shared here. Just compare the performances.
