  1. Hey guys. I dont know if this is in the right section of the forum (sorry!) but I just wanted to share with you my streets cover. This was mainly supposed to be a sound check, with my camera and youtube, but I think it isn't too bad so I decided to keep it.

    Great cover mate, really great tone you got there. There's a thread called "Almost Better Than The Real Thing" where we post cover music etc. just for future reference, don't want Gerard or Nate etc. getting on your case!

    Great job did you use some kinda funky pedal around 3:08 in the vid? Sounds great

    Yea, i was using my Dunlop 535q Wah pedal there for a bit of fun during the muted part. I know it's not actually in the song, I just felt like using it for a second haha.

    Nothing wrong with added a personal touch to a cover - afterall, you're not obliged to remain 100% true to an original song if you're doing your own version

    I wish there was a backing track around for the Fly á la Elevation - it's awesome playing it now I have an Epi. (I know Edge played it on his Gibson but it's as near as I'm gonna get for a long time!)

    Like I said earlier, what setup have you got there? Also, is that a genuine Strat. or a copy?
