1. During the intro to Streets (taped in Sao Paulo, Brazil), Bono names a bunch of South American countries. He names, "Argentina" and everyone boos. Then "Brasila!" and everyone goes nuts.

    ...BUT!!!...

For the next 5 seconds, the Argentinian flag is frozen on the LED screen (3 Argentinian flags). Check it out at YouTube, around 1:15:

The editors must have combined footage from the 2 shows (Brazil, and Argentina) but that is a funny, ironic, glaring error, considering that Bono is playing off the rivalry between the two countries 5 seconds earlier!!!

    Anyone else notice this?
  2. Yes, it's absolutely a mix from both concerts. The intro being from Sao Paulo for sure, and then toward the end of the song, when Edge plays the muted strings part and goes back to the main riff, that's most definitely from Buenos Aires. Just compare the available bootlegs to it and it's plain as day. In any case, U2:3D NEEDS a CD release, at the VERY LEAST.....however I did not notice the flag bit....great catch!!
  3. another obvious "error", if you want to call it that, is during The Fly. Edge is seen playing the red and black acoustic as well as the sparkly Love and Peace guitar. kind of ruins the continuity, unless they want the concert to be scrapbook of all the shows filmed
  4. Yeah, and did anyone else notice that Edge's guitar was different for every song? What's up with that?
  5. funny, good for you for notcing
  6. Bono wears a had and 1 minute later, he doesn't. He never puts his had off during a song, I think. U23D, awesome work from the Cut and Paste Departement. It rocked though..
  7. Got to love those continuity glitches, despite the fact I didn't get a chance to see it

Re. Edge changing guitars, he uses about 24 in a 20 song set anyway so that wouldn't surprise me

Yeah I noticed it when I saw the movie , pretty funny indeed
  9. the intro is from brazil (in argentina we booed when he said "brazil") but after the intro its mostly argentina , you can definitely tell for the stadiums , at least for us latin americans it's easy to recognize that

You do realize I was joking, right? Actually I've heard he's used 20 guitars in a 4 song set. (joking again)

Something I've often pondered - will Edge ever write a guitar part for a song so complex and specific that it involves switching to a different guitar in the middle of the song?

I want to say he has but I could be mistaken. I thought he did so a one point during the Live From Sydney concert but it could've just been a quick change in back-to-back songs. I know there's more qualified people that will know for sure. (not joking)
