I guess I'd be the same as long as Electric Co. and WGRYWH are retained (and UTEOTW brought back á la Elevation!...plus a few others )

Yes, UTEOTW elevation-style should be there too, Electric Co. too, but as you know I'm not really waiting for WGRYWH....
But if they play it, okay...

Good man, just accept my judgement as the gospel truth, sit back and say no more, for you know in your heart of hearts that I'm right.

    Lol.

I know exactly what you mean but that sounds rather illicit lol
  5. I don't try to make a setlist because it'll be sh*t, only the U2 can compose a really good setlist, but I have few songs that I would like to hear in the new tour:
    Stories For Boys
    October
    The Unforgettable Fire
    Red Hill Mining Town
Hold Me, Thrill Me, Kiss Me, Kill Me
    Mercy

I was thinking about the U2. I have a déja vu feeling:
All That You Can't Leave Behind reminds me of The Unforgettable Fire, because of the songs, and the lyrics theme of the songs.
How To Dismantle An Atomic Bomb is the second Joshua Tree for me, think about Where The Streets Have No Name and City Of Blinding Lights. Anyway I think now coming the new Achtung Baby, and that will be extraordinary big. I hope the will use new things on the tour (and in the album), but they must keep the old, never-falling habits too.

I definitely see where you're coming from... I see the return of the B-Stage
  7. just as the Rolling Stones did with their Licks tour....

play rarities from a single era and feature an album every night, plus playing the hits.

    now THAT would be awesome

Welcome here! I agree with you regarding TUF. However, I don't see HTDAAB as the 2nd Joshua. That would have been something though.

Yeah, that's why I wrote 'for me' after the comment . But everybody talks about the new tour's setlist. Why don't we talk about the tour?

What do you think wich country they will visit? I hope they will come Hungary again, we've been waiting about 15 years. (Jesus, I was 2 years old at their only concert in Budapest ).
And will they start the tour in the US of A again?
From the Joshua Tree Tour The first three leg is : North America, Europe, North America.
Where will be the fourth, or/and the fifth leg?

There is a lot of questions, isn't it?

Nah, 'cause to me that kinda smacks of resorting back to the old days too much so. I think they got it right on the Vertigo tour (for the most part, once they settled into a rhythm) with the main encores contrasting to the main set and including big songs in amongst the main set.

A lot of questions and we don't have answers. Only U2 has them. We can only suggest, guess and discuss. They probably will start the tour in the USA. That's, from a commercial point of view, the best and most interesting option. Afterwards, they'll visit Europe for sure. And probably South America too. I wonder if Australia and Japan will show up. They did last time but they're never a certainty.

Ahem....They bloody well better! Last time they toured Bono said and I quote: "We'll see you next time!" Next time as in next time they tour. I will hold him to that. They pissed off too many fans when they fobbed us during Elevation. They won't repeat that again.
