  1. So I did some research, here's what I found:

    The Even Better than the Real Thing intro started in a lower key, but that lower key got lost in the swamps and never found its way out of Florida. It was played in a lower key for the 1st two dates of the tour. On the second night, in Miami, it was supposedly started in an even lower key, then changed to a higher pitch on the 3rd night. From Charlotte to Sydney it was played this way, the way we've all heard it.

    To me, the way they played EBTTRT the first two nights was to be exactly like the studio version. But Florida does things to ya, trust me. I lost my old scream singing voice down there, but kinda glad I did. My new voice is much better, and others love it!

    Same here, just bookmarking them, its getting kinda late for me to download anything. Tommorow I'll get the abt ten or so shows going, and leave my computer on when I leave for my run, and when I go to my friend's house.

    omg.......... they didnt play the Fly at Hampton!!!!!!!! 5th night of the tour. Wow.... so much trust in their first single off the album, eh?

    I never realized that! Well, I realized the different piches between live & album, but not to that extent. I never could scream, I can only sing in a high voice while playing guitar (I know: ) other wise, I sound like crap

    Back in the old days when I listened to the Who, and had mastered the Wont Get Fooled Again scream. Kinda miss that, not so much anymore. Singing Still Havent Found is much better.

    Yea, I realized that when it came on lol. What an odd set. That would never do. Glad it didnt stay that way.

    I one time screamed the "I'm hanging on" part in Red Hill Mining Town... I couldn't even speak for abt 30 mins... still can't sing like I use to

    Ouch......... I only scream during a song when its necessary, like in EBTTRT, sometimes. Either that or the high pitch thing.

    I was at my peak when I lost the scream thing. I was able to pull off Water, also by the Who. Then I went to Disney for a week and lost it. I think it was a sign......

    Because compared to how I used to sing and now, people actually like my singing now.

    I remember the first time I heard Won't Get Fooled Again. It was my first Who song, the song that got me into them. I was flipping through the channels when CSI: Miami comes on. I went to that channel exactly when the scream started. Only some people like mine... most of my friends like it, all but one
