It's filmed like Cloverfield with a handycam, or just a handheld camera. Everything you see is from that perspective. It's about a Spanish late midnight serie called 'When You're Asleep' (But in Spanish then...it's entirely Spanish, the Hollywood-remake will come shortly and probably will be inferior having The Grudge and The Ring in mind). That team exists of a girl called Angela and the cameraman who is never visible. They follow the nightshift of the local fire-departement when suddenly the alarmbells ring. A lady is reported to be trapped inside an appartement. The following 70 minutes are just very, very sick...you should see it if you're not afraid of good old horror.

yeah, most of it was filmed in Scotland, but that bus driver told us that some scenes (dunno which ones) were shot in Wicklow Mountains

Ah cool, sounds interesting. I want to see that Stephen King thing coming out soon, "The Mist" - looked quite cool on the trailer. However, I thought the same thing about "The Happening" but that's apparently a load of bollocks. I keep forgetting about a lot of M. Night Shymalan films, some of them are crap - Signs was good though, I watched The Village recently and thought that was ok and Lady In The Water was surprisingly alright in my opinion, but Shattered? God, talk about wanting to take up self-harm...

Ha, books are so much better (as long as you're up for a lot of reading!) - that said, films are pretty tasty. Better than the Harry Potter adaptations...

I got fed up with them after the 3rd book lol, but read them anyway out of a sense of duty, considering they'd been bought for me as presents lol.

3 was the most interesting imo. 4 and 5 were both just overlong, but 5 was better than 4, because it got some more depth. 6 was really exciting, but then it all got shallow and plain silly in the last book and they are making two movies of that one, oh my..

lol, I was quite amused by the way everyone just died, it was like "what the fuck?" - I don't mean I liked people dying, it was just as if JK Rowling had got stuck for ideas and thought, "ha, I know what I'll do, I'll do what other storytellers do when they're in a rut - I'll kill a few people!"

haha, yeah. she was just so out of ideas, it was like a slap in the reader's face.
and the entire ending was just bad fanfiction way to go, jkr.

Oh yeah, "hey look, everyone's married with lots of children and we're all happy happy and we've called our kids after all the important characters WHO GOT KILLED just a few pages ago."

    lol.
