    If one wanted to be awkward, you could say it's not really a lyric they can claim as their own because none of the band came up with it , just as with "there is a silence that comes to a house where no one can sleep" (Ultra-Violet)...

    Indeed, the line in full is "and a woman needs a man like a fish needs a bicycle", which I guess you could interpret as meaning that woman have no need for us poor men!
